CELBRATE ST. PATRICK'S DAY WITH THESE DECADENT CHOCOLATE GANACHE MINT BROWNIES!

I would like to share this recipe for all you choco-mint lovers.
Warning: These brownies will bring your taste buds salivating for more. Super rich and worth the calories! I recommend you save 1/2 the batch for yourself and share the rest with friends, family and co-workers. They are so scrumptious, you may get a promotion!

DECADENT CHOCOLATE GANACHE MINT BROWNIES
STEP 1, the BROWNIE:
1 Cup Sugar 4 Eggs
1 Cup Butter or 1/2 teaspoon salt
Margarine, softened 2 teaspoons vanilla
1 Cup Flour 16 ounces Chocolate Syrup
*I recommend Hershey's

STEP 2, the MINT FROSTING:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine, softened
2-3 Tablespoons Creme de Menthe or Mint Flavoring

STEP 3, the GANACHE:
8 Ounces Chocolate Chips
6 Tablespoons Butter

STEP 1:
Preheat oven to 350. Line 9"x13" pan with parchment paper, going up sides. Spray with Cooking Oil.
Using hand held mixer, combine all ingredients together from STEP 1 in a bowl.
Mix thoroughly, 3-4 minutes, watch for flour on the bottom of the bowl.
Pour brownie mix into greased pan and smooth evenly.
Bake 30 minutes.
Cool to warm to the touch. This allows the mint frosting to spread, easily.

STEP 2:
While brownies are cooking, prepare Steps 2 & 3
In separate bowl: using hand held mixer, mix ingredients from STEP 2, frosting should be easy to spread.
Cover with plastic wrap to keep soft. Add a little milk if it becomes stiff.

STEP 3:
Melt chocolate chips and butter in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute, stir. If not completely melted, continue to microwave at 30 second intervals and stir. DO NOT burn chocolate.
Let cool.

Once the brownies have cooled slightly, about 30 minutes, spread the mint frosting evenly over the brownie, being careful not to tear the brownie top.
Put pan in freezer for 10 - 15 minutes.

Remove pan from freezer and drizzle ganache over top, spreading a thin layer.
Freeze for 10 -15 minutes.

Remove brownies from pan carefully to a cutting board.
Cut brownies into 1"x1" squares.
Relax and enjoy!
