The good news, interest rates for conforming Mortgages ($417,000 and under), hover around 3.75%. When purchasing a home, there are 2 important requirements a Buyer should complete; #1: A spread sheet of income and versus debt. This includes daily transportation, phone, gas, electric, groceries, entertainment, insurance costs, etc. It will give a Buyer a good estimate of how much one can afford for a monthly mortgage payment. The 2nd most important item is obtain a Pre-approval from your Lender.
