DUFF GOLDMAN OF CHARM CITY CAKES DECORATES A SWORDFISH CAKE!

At the International Home and Housewares Show, there is a cooking theater with celebrity chefs. The schedule changes daily and this year, Duff Goldman, owner of Charm City Cakes & Ace of Cakes TV show, gave a very entertaining demonstration on airbrushing a swordfish cake. His bakery, located in Baltimore, Maryland since 2002, baked, carved and decorated a swordfish jumping out of the ocean. Duff flew the cake into Chicago (1st class) where the finishing details were to be added to the cake.
Duff has a complete line of cake mixes, frosting, food coloring, bake ware, fondant, etc. with Gartner Studios and was introducing his newest product: airbrushing.
Duff was so down to earth, explaining why his newest tatoo is a Canadian maple leaf. While filming an upcoming show in Canada, Duff bet a camera man that USA would win the Olympic Hockey Game...we didn't.
Joining Duff on stage during his demo, Chef Chris Cosentino came on and tried his hand with airbrushing. You can find Duff's products in Michael's craft stores, where I have bought the red dye for my red velvet cake recipe.
After the demo, Duff gave out complimentary cake mixes which he autographed. Duff is heading to Australia and New Zealand as an ambassador to the US for some cooking shows to be taped down under. He will then spend some vacation time in Vietnam, riding a motorcycle up and down the coast.
Super nice guy, love his giggle and high energy!
