For the 2nd year in a row, North Shore Country Club, located in Glenview, Illinois, hosted the ENCOMPASS CHAMPIONSHIP. The Tournament was a PGA TOUR event. It paired celebrity senior golfers with 81 pro-amateurs. The event was held June 16 - 22, 2014.
Since I had Volunteered at the BWM Championship held September, 2013 at Conway Farms, Lake Forest, Il, I had to Volunteer at this PGA Tournament.
My duties for the week was handing out gifts/goodie bags to the Pro-Amateurs. It was interesting to see all the renowned Golf Courses worn on the Pro-Am's shirts, hats or visors.
The gifts to these golfers were: 2 Chipping wedges (deigned by Roger Cleveland) and a dozen golf balls courtesy of Callaway Golf, a green grocery bag (Career Builder), Encompass Hat (choice of blue or yellow), Money Clip (which served as their credentials), Encompass Bag Tag and a Golf shirt and pair of shorts!
Unfortunately, our Chicago weather was in a bad mood that week and taunted us with severe thunderstorms for most of the days.
